From Family Reentry Workshops and correctional outreach to community events, partnerships, education, and advocacy, OTWH continues working to strengthen connections for individuals and families impacted by incarceration and reentry.
BRINGING REENTRY EDUCATION TO FAMILIES
In 2026, OTWH brought Family Reentry Workshops to Birmingham and Dothan, creating opportunities for families to learn about release, supervision, recovery, relationships, resources, and the realities of navigating reentry.
SHOWING UP IN THE COMMUNITY
OTWH participates in community events and outreach opportunities that create space for connection, education, awareness, and conversations about reentry, recovery, families, and stronger support systems.
BRINGING REENTRY INTO THE CONVERSATION
OTWH continues working to raise awareness about the realities of incarceration and reentry, including the impact on fathers, children, families, and the communities waiting for people to come home.

OTWH welcomes personal stories from individuals and families who want to share their experiences, challenges, lessons, hope, and perspectives with others. Your story may help someone feel less alone, help a family better understand the journey, or help a community see reentry through a different lens.
